We focus on developing new housing and commercial space as well as assisting in the
acquisition of blighted properties for suitable redevelopment.
Our projects include:
- redevelopment of the
former Pennsylvania National Bank building at Doughboy Square
(the intersection of Penn Avenue and Butler
Street at 34th Street), now home to Desmone & Associates
Architects;
- development
of 33 townhouses on Penn Avenue;
- redevelopment of The Bathhouse at 3445 Butler
Street. This turn-of-the-century public bathing facility is
now home to
offices for several professional
services firms. The Lawrenceville Corporation received a
Historic Preservation award from City of Pittsburgh Mayor Tom
Murphy for
initiating the adaptive re-use of this space.
- the Streetface Facade Renovation Program, which assists businesses with rehabilition of their storefront. Over 100 façades have been improved.
- Procedures for requesting property to be placed in the City of Pittsburgh Land Reserve Program
