As Community Outreach Coordinator, James will directs community volunteers on various Lawrenceville corp. projects, serve as liaison to partner neighborhood organizations, and oversee Lawrenceville's Elm Street Program.
Prior to joining the LC, James recently completed a Masters in City and Regional Planning with a concentration in urban planning and development from the University of Pennsylvania in May of 2009 where he also earned the Erwin Gutkind Award for International Planning. James also worked on the Open Space Initiative with the City of Pittsburgh’s Urban Redevelopment Authority and served as Associate Project Manager with the Union Project, where he assisted in business plan development, the creation of a marketing plan, and the management of volunteer work groups.
“I am excited to work with community leaders, stakeholders and other neighborhood organizations to continue the momentum of reinvestment that already exists within Lawrenceville,” says Eash.
